Destination

A danger zones movement algorithm (ADR-0003 design) that demonstrably survives against a guess-factor gunner, tested via the shared BattleRunner framework (common_libs/test_framework/), with old test harness removed.

Notes

  • Domain: Tank Royale bot movement/evasion
  • Skills: nim, tdd, domain-modeling
  • ADR-0003 design (ray-cast + danger ranking) is settled; revise only if fundamentally broken
  • Shared test framework is on master, not yet on this branch — rebase first
  • Approach: test-driven — wire tests, run battles, fix what scores reveal

Decisions so far

Not yet specified

(none — destination reached)

Out of scope

  • Competing/alternative movement algorithm (user handles separately)
  • Gun improvements
  • CI integration for tests
## Destination A danger zones movement algorithm (ADR-0003 design) that demonstrably survives against a guess-factor gunner, tested via the shared BattleRunner framework (`common_libs/test_framework/`), with old test harness removed. ## Notes - Domain: Tank Royale bot movement/evasion - Skills: `nim`, `tdd`, `domain-modeling` - ADR-0003 design (ray-cast + danger ranking) is settled; revise only if fundamentally broken - Shared test framework is on master, not yet on this branch — rebase first - Approach: test-driven — wire tests, run battles, fix what scores reveal ## Decisions so far - [Rebase danger-zones-bot onto master](#142) — Clean rebase, no conflicts, shared test framework available - [Delete old battle test harness](#143) — Removed Java runner, bash script, DZASSERT protocol; unit tests preserved - [Build minimal GF gun test adversary](#144) — Standalone GF gunner bot at tests/bots/GFGunner/ - [Wire integration test with shared framework](#145) — test_battle.nim using runBattle(), asserts >50% survival - [Iterate on movement quality](#146) — 10/10 survival vs GFGunner; tuned wall margin, target clamping, arrival/stuck thresholds, logging ## Not yet specified _(none — destination reached)_ ## Out of scope - Competing/alternative movement algorithm (user handles separately) - Gun improvements - CI integration for tests
